21-Year-Old Loses Life in Fort Smith Motorcycle Wreck

21-year-old Alex Sanchez (Fort Smith, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. Mr. Sanchez was traveling south on US 271 in Fort Smith when his motorcycle (2018 Yamaha) struck the curb near Hillside Road. Mr. Sanchez’s motorcycle struck the curb once more before laying down and striking a culvert at Texas Road.

Weather conditions were cloudy at the time of the accident.
